ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif on Sunday directed the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) Chairman to immediately visit the flood affected areas of Chitral and coordinate rescue and relief efforts.
Upon the Prime Minister’s directions, Secretary to the PM Nasir Mehmood Khosa contacted the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister and Chief Secretary and inquired about their requirements.The Secretary to the Prime Minister, on behalf of the PM, assured full support and cooperation of the Federal Government to rehabilitate the flood-affected areas. – APP
