MIRPUR: The water level in Mangla dam has started raising swiftly due to rapid melting of glaciers at the upper reaching of the areas.
The water level in the dam raised up to 1149.45 feet on Sunday against the dead level of 1040.00 feet.According to expert, the raising of water level would, hopefully lead to combating the issue of the load-shedding being faced by the country.The inflow of water in Mangla dam Sunday was over 63000 cusecs against the simultaneous discharge of 20000 cusecs of water. – Brecorder
