KARACHI: Door to door voters’ verification process will commence from today in Karachi and electoral lists have been provided by NADRA as per election commissioner directives in this respect.
Citing to defence ministry sources media reported army and all other forces would be responsible to provide security to Election Commission staff during the course of verification of voters. Army, Rangers, Frontier Constabulary and police will remain posted in Karachi till the verification of electoral lists is completed.Army is tasked only to provide security to the election commission staff and the responsibility for carrying out verification of lists will rest with the election commission staff.
Election Commission has got printed forms of three kinds and as per procedure the verification team will be provided Form A, and B. One member family will be furnished Form A and family having more than members will be provided form B. A form for correction of any error if found during the course of filling of forms A and Bwill also be provided to the citizens. – Onlinenews
