ISLAMABAD: The US would provide technical support to judiciary in training “specialised judges” of Pakistan, including those from anti-terrorism courts, at Federal Judicial Academy Islamabad where American judges will impart training to Pakistani judges and prosecutors.
This was agreed during a meeting between Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry and senior judge from California David Carter on Tuesday. The two also exchanged views on further cooperation between judiciaries of Pakistan and State of California, particularly in areas of judicial education and training.
