QUETTA: Acting governor of Balochistan, Aslam Bhotani has cancelled the session of Balochistan Assembly that was to be held today, stating Supreme Court’s ruling in Balochistan-unrest case as a relevant reason.
Governor Balochistan, Nawab Zulfiqar Mugsi, who is on a foreign trip, had called for the session of Balochistan Assembly today.Acting governor, Aslam Bhotani was of the view that the Supreme Court in its ruling had asked about the role of Balochistan government in maintaining peace in the province. The Supreme Court had also issued order to the provincial government to perform its duties regarding law and order. – Onlinenews
