LAHORE: The Young Doctors Association (YDA) on Wednesday ended their prolonged strike after successful talks with Punjab government, media reports said.
Sources said a 56-point formula has been agreed upon by the provincial health department and doctors when YDA representatives held negotiations with senior government officials this afternoon. The agreement would be formally signed by the two sides this evening in the presence of PML-N’s Senator Ishaq Dar. Reports said medics and health authorities have mutually agreed that Research Council be instituted to enforce a heath care system in the province. – Onlinenews
