ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf Wednesday said that the government accorded top priority to the socio-economic development of the country so that the standard of living of the people of Pakistan could be raised.
The Prime Minister expressed these views during meetings with Parliamentarians who called on him separately at the Prime Minister’s House. The Prime Minister said that policies pursued by the government were aimed at the welfare of the people. The government, he said, had therefore allocated sizeable funds to Parliamentarians. He urged the elected representatives to identify and prioritized the schemes so that the people could benefit from development work. – APP
