Speaking at Iftar dinner hosted in honour of the Parliamentarians here at the Prime Minister House.
PM Raja Pervez Ashraf said that political opponents were thinking that PPP government will not last long but Pakistan Peoples Party, having a history of struggle and great sacrifices for democracy, will continue to strive for strengthening of democratic system, which not only ensures the rule of common man, but is well-recognized at international level.Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf said that the election may be held before time and predicted PPP victory.On the other hand, President Asif Ali Zardari held a meeting with Pakistan Muslim Leagur-Quaid (PML-Q) leaders Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and Ch Pervez Elahi at presidency and discussed with them overall political situation in the country.
