Naomi Campbell gives ‘110 per cent’ to everything she does.
The British supermodel is appearing as a mentor on new show The Face, which aims to find the next big fashion star. She plans to instil the importance of a strong work ethic in the hopefuls appearing on the programme. ‘What¬ever you do, do it 110 per cent,’ she said. ‘That’s what my mother taught me, and it’s what I’ve always believed in.’
The Face will see aspiring models go head-to-head to become the face of a major brand. She will be one of three supermodels responsible for moulding and nurturing the contestants on the NBC Universal programme, although the other stars haven’t been confirmed yet. Naomi, 42, feels the show is the right choice for her. She enjoys watching television, explaining reality series are her guilty pleasure.
‘I love the Real Housewives [US programme] – all of them,’ she laughed to W magazine. ‘Of course, I would never expose myself in that way, but I’m happy to share my experiences.’ The Face will air on Oxygen, the cable network that shows America’s Next Top Model. Naomi has previously promised the hopefuls competing on it will get a ‘real insider’s look’ at the industry.-MSN
