PESHAWAR: The US Consulate General announced on Thursday that it would provide scholarships to ‘100 economically disadvantaged’ students from Mansehra district to study English.
The scholarship programme, made possible through an agreement with Hazara University, will provide students with 800 hours of intensive, after-school instructions and summer learning activities over a two-year period, a statement from the US Consulate General said.
“Quality English language instruction paves the way for students to have a brighter, more prosperous future,” said Public Affairs Officer Marcia Anglarill of the Consulate General. – Dailytimes
