National Accountability BureauISLAMABAD: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) allowed inquiry into the sale of Pak embassies buildings in Tokyo and Jakarta at a throwaway price, allegedly for hefty kickbacks.

The decision to this effect was taken in the executive board meeting held under the chair of Chairman NAB Admiral (Retd) Fasih Bokhari here on Wednesday. The meeting also approved to initiate an inquiry against M/s Anmol Textile Mills Ltd. Lahore for willful default from the Bank of Punjab amounting to more than Rs 300 million.

The case of M/s Khurshid Spinning Mills Faisalabad for Bank loan default of more than Rs 150/- million was referred to NAB Punjab to be handled by them.The meeting approved the filing of reference against Arz Muhammad Umarni former DC Sibi for illegal allotment of state lands to the favorites. – Nation
