Law Minister Maula Baksh ChandioQUETTA: Federal Law Minister Maula Baksh Chandio has termed the present crisis “artificial and a conspiracy,” adding that every democratic government has suffered the same in our country’s history, while dictators have never faced such problems during their prolonged rule.

Talking to reporters after the conclusion of his two-day visit to Quetta on Monday, Chandio said the current crisis is fabricated and a conspiracy against the present government. He said Mansoor Ijaz was far more concerned with protecting American interests than Pakistan’s.“The PPP government has the capability to face and overcome such crises and will complete its tenure. However, political parties in a democratic system have the right to demand for snap polls,” he said. – Thetribune
