ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), the largest opposition party of the country, has announced to stage sit-in at the Presidency on Thursday (today). According to the media reports, the PML-N has declared that from now onwards their national manifesto is, “To awake or remove the government” while the government has said that all protesters will be treated as guests and they would be served cold drinks.
Opposition leader Chaudhry Nisar criticised the government bitterly while talking to the media in Islamabad, saying the government had failed on all fronts while the public is starving for the electricity and no strategy has been made to curb this ongoing power crisis across the country. Federal Interior Minister Rehman Malik has welcomed PML-N’s announcement and said that the protesters will be their guests and cold drinks will be served to them if they would stage a peaceful protest.
Federal Information Minister Firdous Ashiq Awan has said that PML-N’s mindset is a poisonous killer for the democracy; the President is a symbol of the Federation and he shall not be made a target. She added that the PML-N should install a protest camp against the Chief Minister of Punjab, instead of staging a sit-in outside the Presidency. Former Federal Law minister Babar Awan said on the occasion that during next 24 hours it will be revealed that who has filled air in the balloon of the PML-N. – Onlinenews
