The 17-member committee includes five members from PPP, four from PML-N, three from Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid, two from MQM and one each from JUI-F, ANP and PML-F.The names of the members given by the their respective parties are; Syed Khurshid Shah, Qamar Zaman Kaira, Noor Alam, Ayetullah Durrani and Qadir Patel from PPP, Sardar Mahtab Khan Abbassi, Khawaja Asif, Zahid Hamid and Rana Tanvir from Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, Ghaus Bukhsh Mehar, Riaz Pirzada and Zubaida Jalal from Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid, Haider Abbas Rizvi and Sohail Mansur would represent MQM while Khuda Bukhsh Rajar, Ghulam Ahmad Bilor and Maulana Fazlur Rahman would represent Pakistan Muslim League-Functional, ANP and JUI-F respectively.

The committee would likely meet the stakeholders not part of the incumbent Parliament and would also have their input to make the recommendations comprehensive and effective. – Nation
