Panel approves 7 SC LHC, PHC judges

ISLAMABAD: The Parliamentary Committee for Judges’ Appointment unanimously approved the appointment of seven additional judges in the Lahore and Peshawar High Courts.The meeting of the Committee held with its Chairman Senator Syed Nayyar Hussain Bokhari in chair here at the Parliament House on Monday. The Committee members Sardar Mehtab Khan Abbasi, Khawaja Asif, Pir Aftab Shabban Mirani and Ishaq Dar participated in the meeting.The participants of the meeting thoroughly discussed recommendations of the Judicial Commission in connection with the appointment of seven additional judges in the Lahore and Peshawar High Courts and unanimously approved it. – Dailymailnews
