ISLAMABAD: Oil and Gas Regulatory (OGRA) has increased price of petrol by Rs 1.9 per litre with effect from Aug 1, while keeping the price of diesel unchanged. Addressing a press conference on Sunday, OGRA spokesman Senior Executive Director Finance Syed Jawad Hussain said that the new price of petrol would be Rs 84.80 per litre. “The new rate of Kerosene oil would be Rs 86.62 per litre after increase of Rs 1.97 per litre,” he said. The new price of HOBC would be Rs 107.80 after increase of Rs 5.34 while that of Light Diesel would be Rs 83.52 after increase of Rs 2.13. “No change has been made in the price of High-Speed Diesel and it will be sold at the previous rate of Rs 92.10 per litre,” the spokesman concluded. – Dailytimes
