Peshawar: Govt cancels allotment of 8,770-kanal land

KP government has canceled allotment of 8,770 kanal land allotted during MMA tenure.Talking to the media, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Agriculture Minister Arbab Ayub said that the land, situated in DI Khan, had been allotted to different people by the MMA illegally. The present government took notice of the issue and cancelled the allotment, while a case has been pending in court regarding 100 kanals, he added.He stated that officials involved in the case had been removed from service, and strict action would be taken against occupants. – Dunyanews
