Patients suffers over Young Doctors ongoing strike

QUETTA: Patients in the Capital of Balochistan and across the province have been suffering severely due to ongoing strike of young doctors while the poor patients are compelled to get treatment from private hospitals.The young doctors are on strike for last month, as they are demanding for raise in their salaries and other infringes.As per details, patients from DHQ Quetta, BMC hospital, Sandmen Provincial hospital and in others have been facing acute problems due to the prolonged strike of doctors which was started last month. It has been said that only few senior doctors are performing their duties in OPD which are not fulfilling the needs of the patients.The relatives of patients complained that they have been waiting for doctors since morning, whereas, despite of huge funding to hospital for medicine from the government side, the situation is so alarming that neither doctors nor medicine is available here. – Onlinenews
