Zardari for maintaining law n’ order, uplift projects in Balochistan

ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari on Tuesday urged the provincial government of Balochistan to take all possible steps for maintaining law and order besides focusing on welfare and uplift of the people.  The President expressed these views while talking to Governor and Chief Minister Balochistan Nawab Zulfiqar Ali Magsi and Nawab Muhammad Aslam Khan Raisani who called on him at  Aiwan-e-Sadr Tuesday.

The issues related to Balochistan including law and order situation and status of development projects in the province came under discussion during the meeting.He reiterated commitment of the present government to bring the people of Balochistan into the mainstream of national life and to address their grievances and sense of deprivation on priority basis.The Governor briefed the President about situation in the province and thanked him for giving special attention towards the uplift of the people of Balochistan and undertaking major developmental projects to bring the people of Balochistan at par with other provinces in terms of development and other facilities.Nawab Nadir Magsi, provincial minister Sindh and Dr. Zaheeruddin Babar Awan were also present. – APP
