ISLAMABAD, May 27 (APP): The delegation-level talks between Pakistan and United States started here to discuss the issues related to Pak-US cooperation in war against terrorism.President Asif Ali Zardari and US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton led their respective sides after they held a one-on-one meeting at the President House as she arrived here on a day-long visit Friday morning. Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani, Interior Minister Rehman Malik, Chief of the Army Staff General Ashfaq Pervaiz Kayani, Director General Inter Services Intelligence Agency General Shuja Pasha, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Hina Rabbani Khar and Foreign Secretary Salman Bashir joined the delegation-level talks.
Chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff Admiral Mike Mullen and US ambassador in Pakistan Cameron Munter represented their country.
Earlier, Hillary Clinton arrived here Friday morning on a day-long visit. She was received by Senator Sughra Imam and US ambassador Cameron Munter at PAF Base Chaklala.
The US Secretary is expected to address a press conference this afternoon at the embassy after concluding her meetings with the leadership – APP
