KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah on Tuesday presided a high-level meeting at the Chief Minister’s House and discussed proposed schemes for the next financial year 2011-12.The meeting also reviewed progress of the current financial year with perspective of the percentage of achievements.The meeting discussed assessment from federal government for divisible pool, the share for Sindh province, expectation to this effect and present status of the implementation of Annual Development Programme. The meeting discussed various ongoing and new schemes in various sectors.Shah emphasised upon the need for completing the schemes which are nearer to completion so that the people of province could get benefit from them. He urged that the schemes for next financial year be initiated soon and completed within a year.The meeting was attended among others by Sindh Finance Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, Adviser to CM on Planning & Development Qaisar Bengali, Sindh Chief Secretary Abdul Subhan Memon, Additional Chief Secretary (P&D) Muhammad Ishaque Lashari, Secretary to CM Alamdin Bullo, Secretary Finance Naveed Kamran Baloch and others. – Dailytimes
