PESHAWAR: The government of Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa has suspended the seven officials of Special branch and district security branch for negligence in duty during US operation in Abbottabad against Alqaida leader Osama Bin Laden, here on Friday.
According to sources of special branch police, the government of Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa has suspended the seven officials of Special branch and district security branch on charge of not informing the high authorities about Abbottabad operation and presence of Osama Bin Laden, on time. The government has issued transfer orders of twenty-two officials. Sources further told that investigation committee has been formed under the aegis of Additional IG special branch to probe into the case while the committee has started investigation. – onlinenews
