Pakistan shares world’s richest heritage, culture: Marri

KARACHI: Sindh Electric Power Minister Shazia Marri said that Sindh and Pakistan have world’s great heritage and cultural sites which can be promoted and brought before the world by holding photo-exhibitions inside the country and abroad.She was inaugurating a photo-exhibition of Turkish Consul General Fethi Etam titled ‘Here & There’ at Canvas Gallery, here on Sunday.

Etam has placed pictorial albums of different countries, including Pakistan, Turkey, China, and Bangladesh.Marri said that world needs tolerance and by holding photo-exhibitions and other social and cultural events, the people of different nations can be brought close to each other.Etam told media that his photo exploration of land of Sindh was an unforgettable experience through which he went through some of the world’s great heritage and culture sites, which were hidden from the world.The photo-exhibition is being visited by a large number of people, who appreciate art, archaeology and heritage.Consul General of Malaysia Khalid Abdul Razzak and other diplomats of city were also present on the occasion. – Dailytimes
