Complaints centre staff alerted

KARACHI: After a succession of terrorist attacks on Pakistan Navy personnel in the metropolis, Home Affairs Consultant Sharfuddin Memon has alerted the staff at Complaints Centre Home Office directing them to remain in constant contact with the control rooms of IGP Sindh, CCPO Karachi and RPOs Hyderabad and Sukkur in order to instantly address all the complaints and tip-offs of suspicious activities. In a handout released on Thursday, Memon said in view of the present fluid situation, a campaign will be launched for citizens to aware them of the possible dangers of deserted motorbikes, vehicles, parcels, etc. Another motive of the campaign will be to give them the required confidence to call the complaints centre regarding any suspicious activity, he added. Telephone number of the complaint centre is 021-99207744-48, while that of CCPO Karachi Monitoring Cell is 021-99212663. The consultant also advised citizens to contact Madagar 15 or the nearest police station in case of any untoward incident.
