One killed in Quetta suicide attack on DIG

QUETTA: A police constable was killed and 17 others, including Deputy Inspector General (DIG) (Investigations) Wazir Khan Nasir and DIG Naeem Kakar (Crime Branch) along with their children, sustained injuries in a suicide attack in the provincial capital on Thursday.Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Dawood Junejo confirmed that it was a suicide attack in which the attacker rammed an explosives-laden vehicle into the house of DIG Nasir. As a result, a police constable was killed and 17 people were inured.The target of the attack, DIG Nasir, along with his three children Zubair, Laiba and Iqra and DIG Kakar and his son Waheed Kakar, were among the injured. – Dailytimes
