An agreement of cooperation in energy sector has been signed between the Sindh govt and a Chinese company.The agreement signing ceremony held at Sindh House Islamabad. The president of the Chinese company and member Sindh Assembly Shazia Marri signed the agreement.As per the agreement, the Chinese company would construct power plant at Sukkur Barrage which would have power generation capacity of 150MW. The Chinese company would also work on coal, hydel, wind and solar energy projects.Talking to media persons after signing ceremony, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah said that Sindh was facing shortage of water and this issue would be raised in the meeting of IRSA to be held tomorrow. – Dunyanews
