Shuja Pasha extension notified

THE government has granted one-year extension to the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) Chief Lt-Gen Ahmad Shuja Pasha. Talking to a private TV on Sunday, Minister for Defence Ch Ahmed Mukhtar said that the ISI Chief is not retiring and the notice of his extension has been issued. Answering about US drone attacks, Mukhtar said that Pakistan has informed US about the distress among Pakistanis on the issue. The ISI Chief also met PM Gilani in which Gilani asked Pasha to take more effective steps in war against terror. – Nation
