ISLAMABAD: Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah on Thursday said the government of Punjab was not involved in payment of blood money for the release of American citizen Raymond David. Talking to a private news channel, the Punjab Law Minister said that the provincial government did not have anything to do with the payment of blood money in the matter.He said not a single person either from political or administrative side had made any contact with the family of victims.To a question as to who had paid the blood money for Raymond Davis, the Minister said that as advocate Raja Irshad Kiyani had represented the families of the victims, he could best reply to this question .Rana Sanaullah said Raja Irshad Kiyani was the approriate person to comment on it, as he had also signed the receipts for the payment.Replying to another question about the correct amount of blood money, the Punjab Law Minister said that according to his information the amount paid as blood money was Rs. 200 million but Malik Mansab Awan who had also been representing the families of the victims was in a better position to reveal the correct amount – APP
