President Asif Ali Zardari wrote a letter to Prime Minister Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani and Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan and sought their opinion on the appointment of Deedar Hussain Sahah as Chairman National Accountability Bureau (NAB).
In a statement issued by the Aiwan-e-Sadar, Spokesman of the presidency Farhatullah Babar said that President Asif Ali Zardari wrote a letter to Prime Minister Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani and Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan and sought their opinion on the appointment of Deedar Hussain Sahah as Chairman National Accountability Bureau (NAB).
The spokesman disclosed that the President wrote separate letters to Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan and Prime Minister Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani.
Secretary Malik Asif Hayat signed both letters on behalf of the president, Babar said.
Chaudhry Nisar was informed through this letter that his leader Mian Nawaz Sharif expressed his confidence in Deedar Shah in 2009.
