Longtime tennis rivals Americans Pete Sampras and Andre Agassi, and American John McEnroe and Czech-born Ivan Lendl will play Monday night at Madison Square Garden in New York.Two exhibition matches will feature these four retired legends of the game who have a combined 37 Grand Slam singles titles.The occasion, called the BNP Paribas Showdown, is designed to raise funds for youth tennis as well as Agassi’s Las Vegas educational charity.McEnroe and Lendl will play one set, first to eight games, and Sampras and Agassi will play a best-of-three sets match.All four were at one time the top-ranked tennis player in the world.
