Security top most priority of govt: PM

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani said on Thursday that peace and security for the people was the top most priority of his government. By virtue of a number of measures taken by the government, the security situation has improved to a great extent, he said, adding that however, there was still room to further improve the situation so that economic activity in the country could gain momentum.The Prime Minister while talking to Interior Minister Rehman Malik here on Thursday urged the need to have better coordination among the law enforcement agencies as well as with the provinces to track down the terrorists from every nook and corner of the country.The Interior Minister briefed the Prime Minister about the overall security situation – APP
