ISLAMABAD: Ambassadors designate of Kyrgyzstan, Cuba, Austria, European Union, Bhutan and Ireland presented their credentials to President Asif Ali Zardari on Friday.In an impressive ceremony held at the Aiwan-e-Sadr, the ambassadors called on the President separately and presented their credentials. They discussed bilateral relations and matters of mutual interest.The President, while felicitating the newly appointed ambassadors to Pakistan, hoped that they would work for further strengthening the existing ties of their respective countries with Pakistan. Earlier, upon arrival of Alik Orozov, Ambassador-designate of Kyrgyzstan, Jesus Zenen Buerga Concepcion, Ambassador-designate of Cuba, Axel Wech, Ambassador-designate of Austria, Lars-Gunnar Wigemark, Ambassador-designate of European Union, Dasho Bap Kesang, Ambassador-designate of Bhutan resident in Bangladesh, and Oliver Grogan, Ambassador-designate of Ireland resident in Tehran, national anthems of Pakistan and their respective countries were played.The envoys were presented guard of honour by a smartly turned out contingent of Pakistan Army – APP
