Music album marks Faiz’s 100th birthday

LAHORE: A music album of Faiz Ahmad Faiz’s poetry by Tina Sani and Shabana Azmi was launched at a local hotel here on Thursday. Faiz Foundation Trust produced the album for the occasion of the writer’s 100 birthday celebrations. Faiz Foundation Trust Chairperson Salima Hashmi, HRCP Director IA Rahman, Indian actress Lubna Salim and many other foreign artists were present at the launch ceremony.Tina Sani also sang some of Faiz’s poetry at the event, which was highly praised by the audience.
