LAHORE: Punjab Police Inspector General, Javed Iqbal, on Wednesday distributed cash awards worth Rs 3.1 million and commendatory certificates amongst 75 police officials who participated in raids to arrest hardened proclaimed offenders (POs) across the province. A special ceremony was held at Central Police Office to honour 75 police officials of eight different districts: Lahore, Faisalabad, Jehlum, Jhang, Gujrat, Sialkot, Sahiwal, and Lodhran. While addressing the ceremony, IG lauded the bravery and courage demonstrated by the police officials in connection with the arrest of hardened POs.
