KARACHI: Country’s top 32 cueists will feature in the NJI 36th National Snooker Championship starting at Karachi Gymkhana Billiards Hall here from January 31. Pakistan Billiards and Snooker Association (PBSA) president Alamgir Shaikh announced the details of the event at a news conference here on Wednesday. Top 16 players have been directly given entry in the national championship while remaining 16 have qualified through the provincial championships to complete the draw of 32. Muhammad Sajjad is the defending champion. The competition carries Rs.150,000 as prize money. The winner of the event will get Rs.60,000 and runner-up Rs.30,000 – Dailytimes
