PESHAWAR: Peshawar High-Court and District Bar has called for a week long strike against the worst situation of peace in the country and abductions of the advocates.As per details, during a session that was held in Peshawar High-Court Bar and attended by District and Tehsil Bar presidents have shown grave concern over the loss of harmony and increasing incidents of kidnappings in the country especially in KP and held government responsible for it.Advocates have decided to kick off a week long strike from tomorrow after the abduction of Adv. Zain Khalil and Adv. Bashir Lala, and passed a resolution to remain absent from the High Court and other courts as well.Furthermore, in order to succeed in the protest they have established a vigilance committee. It has been declared in the meeting that a protest rally would be carried out daily from High-Court to the District Bar at 11:30 am, whereas in the next week provincial convention would be held against the abductions of advocates, in which future plans would be designed – Sananews
