PHC, District Bar announce week long strike

PESHAWAR: Peshawar High-Court and District Bar has called for a week long strike against the worst situation of peace in the country and abductions of the advocates.As per details, during a session that was held in Peshawar High-Court Bar and attended by District and Tehsil Bar presidents have shown grave concern over the loss of harmony and increasing incidents of kidnappings in the country especially in KP and held government responsible for it.Advocates have decided to kick off a week long strike from tomorrow after the abduction of Adv. Zain Khalil and Adv. Bashir Lala, and passed a resolution to remain absent from the High Court and other courts as well.Furthermore, in order to succeed in the protest they have established a vigilance committee.
