Lahore notches football gold in CM Sports Cup

LAHORE : The second Chief Minister Sports competitions reached final stages in football and volleyball events on Monday. The boys football final matches were held at Punjab Stadium. The first match was played between Lahore and Faisalabad. Lahore clinched the gold medal by 4-2. Sahiwal got the second position 1-0 against Bahawalpur. Lahore were first whereas Faisalabad and Sahiwal got second and third positions.The girls volleyball matches were held at Government Pilot High School for girls. Gujranwala girls won volleyball final 25-19, 25-18 and 25-18. Bahawalpur was second while Rawalpindi got third position beating Sahiwal 25-11, 25-18 and 25-11. In the boys volleyball competitions, Gujranwala team beat Faisalabad by 26-24, 25-23 and 25-21 while Fiasalabad secured silver medal.
