KARACHI: Unidentified kidnappers on Thursday morning abducted Mono Technical College (MTC), Malir Principal Professor Tajuddin while going to the college within the remits of Surjani police station.SHO Surjani police station Mussadiq Rafiq said unidentified armed men kidnapped the principal along with his driver near his house in Tesar Town area when he was on his way to the college. He said the kidnappers left his car (CS-4156) and driver Mohammad Aijaz on Super Highway and took him away in their vehicle. He further said the kidnapping might be the result of an old enmity because some days ago a fight between Tajuddin and another person had occurred. The family of the professor avoided nominating any person.Police have lodged an FIR (865/2010) under section 365-A on the complaint of the principal’s son Raja Abdul Waheed and initiated investigation. The driver of the professor’s car said that the incident occurred at 8:30am when four unidentified armed kidnappers intercepted and kidnapped them but at Super Highway, they left the car and him, taking the professor away in their vehicle. He said that the kidnappers were masked, so he could not identify them
