ISLAMABAD — IGP Islamabad Syed Kaleem Imam on Tuesday awarded medals to the position holders of Taekwondo competition in female weight categories of 31st National Games.
The first prize in Bantam weight was won by Samiya Naz from WAPDA while Ramsha Khan (Sindh), Fatima Sehr (KP), Saira Naz (Punjab), Mehr Un Nisa (Army) and Neelam Nazir (Police) got second, third, fourth, fifth and sixth positions respectively.
Likewise, Ambreen Yousaf from Army won the first prize in middle weight category while Umm-e-Kalsoom Railways, Maria KP, Hajaab Alia Punjab, Nosheen WAPDA, Sehrish Akhtar Sindh got second, third, fourth, fifth and sixth positions respectively.
Similary, Najia Rasool from Army obtained first position in heavy weight category while Shakra (Balochistan), Tahira (WAPDA), Shamim (Police), Munazza Akram (Sindh) and Khushbakht (KP) got second, third, fourth, fifth and sixth positions respectively.
Secretary General Pakistan Taekwondo Federation Lt Col Waseem Ahmed also presented a shield to Chief Guest Syed Kaleem Imam. – Dailymail
