Salary of higher courts’ judges increased

LAHORE: President Asif Ali Zardari has issued the ordinance of the salaries of higher courts’ judges, a private TV channel reported on Thursday. According to the notification issued by President Zardari, the salary of the chief justice of Pakistan would be Rs 389,757 while the salaries of the other judges of the apex court would be Rs 368,186. Moreover, the salary of the chief justices of the high courts would be Rs 361,238 while the other judge of the high courts would get Rs 347,345.
