Zara Sheikh
Born on 1st June, 1982 in Lahore, the picturesque metropolis of the Punjab province – is a famous Pakistani model-turn- actress and singer too. She began her career through an ad campaign for Pakistan’s top cellular phone network Mobilink working as a full-time model before making her debut on the cinema-screen.Her big break came while working with Khawar Riaz, who promised to make her the next big thing and she has since gone on to act in films such as Tere Pyar Mein, Salakhain and Laaj. In 2003, she branched into singing, playback singing for her film Chalo Ishq Larain and releasing an album with pop-singer, Ali Haider.
Resham
Resham is a model and an actress. She is heroine of Lollywood. Film industry of Pakistan. Resham started her acting career on Television. Reesham is a very pretty girl. She is very talented actress Reaham .is beautiful and attractive very sexy figure she puts in hundred per cent efforts in her work. Resham is a superstar of Pakistani film industry and television.Resham born 1978 based in Lahore. She debuted with Syed Noor’s film, Jeeva in 1995 and later went on to star in a string of commercial hits in the late 1990s. She won a National award for her performance in film Sangam.
Resham’s films include, Jeeva, Sangam, Dupatta jal raha hai, Jannat ki talaash, Muhabbat hai kya cheez, and Guns and roses etc. Resham had also appeared in some superb television serials like Mann-0-salwa. Because of falling standards in film production, Resham had to keep away from Lollywood for a short time. Yet, the amazing actress is biding her time to prove her mettle once again. She only needs roles that test her acting calibre. Resham had recently declared that she is going to marry her long time friend for the past ten years, Mahmood Bhatti, a Pakistani fashion designer settled in France. On the other hand Mahmood Bhatti, already a married man, is completely overwhelmed by Resham and her love. Resham is active in films since 1995 till date and appears in many Urdu and Punjabi films in leading roles and also doing amazing roles in some TV plays.Her dramas, Gulnar Bano, Deewangi and Tere Liye are airing on ARY Digital. In 2009, she began filming Syed Noor’s Punjabi film alongside Naveed Raza, one of the winner of Hero Bannay Ki Tarang. In August 2010, she signed two films with Evernew Productions where she will play lead roles.
Sana
Sana is a Lollywood actress as well as a model; she achieved success in 1990s when she was introduced to the Lollywood Film industry by director Syed Noor in his film Sangam in 1997. She started her career as a television actress and gain fame in film industry. Her film Yeh Dil Apka Hua, Kyun tumse itna Pyar Hai and Kaafila made her as one of the top most actresses in the film industry.Besides her acting career she has also proved herself in photo shoots and ramps. Having modeled for big designers and photographers, Sana is undoubtedly a precious jewel in Pakistani fashion Industry. Sana has a reputation of minding her own business; she is not like other Pakistani film actress. Always ambitious and passionate about her work, Sana married film actor Faakhir Imam in December 13, 2008.
Meera
Born in Lahore, Punjab on July 15, 1976, Meera starting her career as a model in 1994, and gained fame after doing TV commercials. In her modeling career she has graced many catwalks of top notch designers and has modeled for many magazines and tabloids. In her acting career, Meera has acted in over two hundred films including Urdu, Panjabi and Hindi. Meera has won the best actress award ten times and she has established herself as one of the leading contemporary actresses in Pakistan film industry. Besides, she has done three Bollywood flicks.Meera has often been cited by the media for the most beautiful actress of Lollywood and won the Lux Style award for the most beautiful face of the year in 2007. Apart from modeling and acting, Meera is also playing her role as a social worker giving food and shelter to homeless and needy women of Pakistan. In addition to that, she also joined hands with Imran Khan for Pakistani flood relief.
Reema Khan
Reema (born October 27, 1971), is a Pakistani film actress and has worked in more than 200 films. During the start of her career, she was known as Reema, but later on she was known also as Reema Khan. In 2005, she introduced herself as a producer and director with the film Koi Tujh Sa Kahan. She debuted as an actress in the film Bulandi, directed by Mohammad Javed Fazil in 1990, opposite Shaan. At the time of her debut in Bulandi, it was the reign of Anjuman, Neeli, Nadra and Shahida Minni. The great success of Javed Fazal’s Bulandi not only helped Reema to stick in Lollywood but also gave a durable pair of Reema and Shaan to Lollywood. She has recently walked down the ramp in Bridal Couture Week.
Humaima Abbasi
Humaima Abbasi (also known as Umaima Abbasi; born 18 November 1987) is a Pakistani television actress and model. She was married to Shamoon Abbasi but it didn’t work out! She has worked in different drama serials and will make her film debut in November 2010 with Bol.The film is directed and produced by Shoaib Mansoor.
Veena Malik
Veena Malik (born Zahida Malik on 26 February 1978) is a Pakistani actress, model and comedian. She has established herself as one of the leading women in the Pakistani television and film industry with her abilities to mimic others and improvise. Veena has also worked as a representative at the World Health Organisation for two years and sponsors a child at the SOS Children’s Village, an NGO based in Pakistan working with orphaned children.She is currently featuring as a housemate in the Indian reality television show Bigg Boss 4.
Barbra Sharif
Babra Sharif born in 1954, was the foremost figure in the Pakistani film industry during the 1980s and late 1970s. She started her career with some commercials. She worked with many famous names fo her time, namely Shahid, Nadeem, Waheed Murad, Ghulam Mohyedin and even Muhammad Ali. She had great success in Urdu films in Pakistan. She did a variety of roles which proved her versatality as an actress. Some critics have also considered her as the best actress of her time in Pakistan, she was the first actress in the region who blended action and romance. She had a childish and innocent face that make her also prominent. She reigned over the film industry for a long time. She worked in more than 100 movies.Her first film was Shamim Ara’s Bhool in 1974. She moved on to a supporting role in Intezar, then to Haqeeqat, Shama, Shabab Kiranvi’s Mera Naam Hai Mohabbat, which was a super hit. This led to a string of films culminating in Salakhain, which proved to be one of her best works. In 1978 she married to film star Shahid, but the couple soon divorced.
Babra received a Nigar Award for Shabana, a super hit, and another Nigar Award for Tina and has received this Award 8 times. Presently she is semi retired. She temporarily resumed her career as a model and currently owns a jewellery shop in Karachi. She also worked in Nadan Nadia, a Pakistan television comedy play by Anwar Maqsood.
