LAHORE:Pakistan Squash Federation has appointed former world squash legend, Jansher Khan advisor to President,PSF, Air Chief Marshal, Rao Qamar Suleman.The decision was taken after a meeting of Air Chief Marshal with Jnasher at Air Headquarters,Islamabad on Tuesday.Senior Vice President,PSF,Air Vice Marshal,Syed Razi Nawab was also present.“ Performance of players and all factors pertaining to the game were discussed in the meeting and Jansher offered his services for the cause of squash in Pakistan and to train players to gain desired results at international level “,said a spokesman of PSF here.
Air Chief Marshal, Rao Qamar Suleman shared his views about the game and highlighted the course of action to further improve and revive squash in Pakistan.PSF’s future plans which aim at promoting game at grass root level through launching Pakistan squash development strategy were also discussed.“ PSF seeks to revive squash and hunting young talented players by expanding the span of squash activities at district level “,he said.The President,PSF appreciated the performance of Pak players in international events during the ongoing year as they won gold and silver medals in South Asian Games and Asian Games .PSF reiterated that it would continue its support to the top level squash player, however, they would have to work even harder to lift the level of their game and ranking world wide,he added
