PTF to hold matches for flood victims in Dubai

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF) will hold exhibition matches in Dubai by the end of December for aiding flood victims, the PTF President Syed Kaleem Imam said.In the matches, famous world players including Pakistan top seed Aisam-ul-Haq, India’s Rohan Bopanna, Sania Mirza and Russia’s Nadia Petrova will take part, he said in a statement.Kaleem Imam asked Aisam-ul-Haq to help the federation in its efforts to promote the game of tennis in the country. He also invited Aisam’s family to join the  federation for the purpose. His (Asiam’s) mother has also remained top class Tennis player and her support will be of great advantage to raise standard of tennis in the country, he said.The PTF President congratulated Aisam’s parent saying that their son had earned good name for country and portrayed its soft image in the world. He also congratulated Aisam-ul-Haq for getting ‘Champion of Peace’ award by World Peace and Sport Forum Monaco, Arthur Ashe Humanitarian of the Year Award by ATP. He hoped that being a Goodwill Ambassador of United National Development Programme, Aisam would also spread the message of peace in the world – App
