High Level Cooperation Council to help strengthen Pak-Turk ties: PM

ISTANBUL: Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani on Wednesday said the commissioning of the High Level Cooperation Council (HLCC) would enable the leaders of the two countries to take important decisions to boost ties in all areas.Prime Minister Gilani said the two governments have made a committment to ensure practical implementation of the 17 Memorandums of Understanding signed during his three-day visit.Talking to APP after addressing the Turkish business community, Prime Minister Gilani said the Pak-Turk ties were unique in nature and and they were cooperating in all areas; including trade, economy and defence.Gilani said in his interaction with the Turkish businessmen he offered them to invest in agriculture, housing, energy and infrastructure development and hoped that the private sectors of the two countries would engage deeply with each other.Prime Minister Gilani said the HLCC would serve as a cabinet for the heads of government of the two countries and enable closer cooperation between the two countries – App
