PESHAWAR Dec 5 (APP): At least 10 persons were died and 18 others injured when an overloaded pickup carrying wedding party fell into a deep ditch on Mallam Jabba Road in Swat district on Sunday.Swat police said Sunday that ill-fated passengers were going to Mallam Jabba from Mingiora City when driver lost control over wheel-steering while negotiating a sharp turn and plunged into deep ditch in the mountainous region.
Resultantly, 10 persons died instantly and 18 other sustained injuries. The deceased and injured include women and children. The police and local rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to Saidu Sharif hospital for treatment. The conditions of several victims are stated to be critical.
