Five dead, 15 injured in City blast

BANNU : The death toll of the suicide blast outside City police station near Milad Chowk mounted to five and injuries to 15 as another victim expired at a local hospital on Tuesday morning, police said.Azizullah Khan son of Ghazi Khan expired at district hospital after fighting for his life for three hours. The police said that the suicide attacker blasted himself when a police patrolling vehicle came near him at Milad Chowk.The dead include Azizullah Khan son of Ghazai Khan, Malik Nawaz son of Muhammad Nawaz, child Sundas daughter of Naek Muhammad and constable Safeerullah Khan. The identity of the fifth victim could not be immediately ascertained due to his mutilated body.The City Police and local people rushed to the site and started search operation.
