PESHAWAR: Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has published the details of the declaration of assets of legislators and political parties in the shape of a booklet after having scrutinized them.ECP had directed members of all the four provincial assemblies, parliament, senate and heads of all the political parties to file the details of their assets with ECP. Political parties were given the deadline of August, 30 while legislators were given cut off date of October, 15 to file their declarations.
ECP sources said declaration of assets submitted by political parties at the preliminary stage were subjected to complete scrutiny and had published it in the form of booklet after the completion of process of scrutiny.ECP has sent these booklets to the provincial election commission authorities. Declarations with larger assets belonged to PPP, PML-N, PML-Q, JUI-F, MQM and Jamaat-e-Islami while the assets of chief minister of Khyber PakhtoonKhawa were smaller than others.
