VC Islamia College kidnapped by Waziristan Taliban not TTP: Tariq Afridi

KOHAT: Central commander of banned Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan Tariq Afridi has said that his outfit is not involved in kidnapping of Vice Chancellor of Islamia College University Peshawar Ajmal Khan.Talking to a private TV channel TTP commander for Dera Adam Khail and Khyber Agency Tariq Afridi said that his men had kidnapped Vice Chancellor Kohat University Latif ullah Kaka Khel and had demanded release of their arrested accomplices and heavy ransom money in return for release of VC. He said that the government accepting their demand had freed 50 militant and large amount ransom was paid after which Latif Kaka Khel was freed.Taliban Commander said we are not involved in the kidnapping of Vice Chancellor Islamia College University Peshawar Ajmal Khan, however we are been told that kidnapped Vice Chancellor has been kidnapped by Waziristan Taliban – Onlinenews
