KARACHI: The Sindh Government has planned to approach federal government to make a policy decision to rotate the chairmanship of Wapda among all the four provinces, sources told TheNation on Tuesday.In this regard, Sindh Assembly will take up a resolution today (Wednesday), which was submitted by a lawmaker of ruling PPP. Sources said that the provincial legislature comprising lawmakers of PPP, MQM, PML-F, PML-Q and NPP will decide to support the resolution and to vote in favour of resolution today.The ruling PPP has decided to take a joint decision through passing a resolution unanimously today (Wednesday) as it will be easy for the Sindh Government to press the Federal Government for making a policy to rotate the chairmanship of Wapda among all four provinces, sources said.
The Sindh government through proposed resolution of Assembly will also demand of the federal government to give priority of appointing the Wapda chairman from Sindh Province, besides to give representation to all the four provinces in the Board of Directors of Wapda.
