Prime Minister of Japan Naoto Kan called President Asif Ali Zardari on telephone Tuesday morning and had discussion on various bilateral matters. The President thanked the Japanese Prime Minister for the assistance provided by his government for the rehabilitation and relief of the flood affected people.
Islamabad and Tokyo have long enjoyed cordial and formidable relations and with Japan’s economic assistance, Pakistan is presently working on a number of mega infrastructure and energy projects.
